1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Sourcebay marketplace (“Sourcebay”, “we”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access our services.

2. Description of Service

Sourcebay is a digital peer-to-peer marketplace that connects software authors (“Sellers”) with developers, founders, and companies looking to license source code projects (“Buyers”).

3. Seller Rights and Obligations

• You represent that you own all intellectual property rights to the source code you list.
• You may not upload stolen, pirated, or malicious software containing backdoors, trojans, or unauthorized code.
• Sourcebay charges a platform commission (default 20%) deducted from each completed sale.
• Sellers may request payouts to a valid Indian UPI ID once their balance is available.

4. Buyer Rights and Software License

When a Buyer purchases a listing on Sourcebay, the Buyer receives a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide license to use, modify, and build upon the purchased source code for both personal and commercial projects, unless specified otherwise by the author. Buyers may not re-distribute or re-sell the raw source code on another marketplace.

5. Payments and Processing

Payments on Sourcebay are securely processed via Razorpay. We do not store credit card or banking credentials on our servers. All transactions are denominated in Indian Rupees (INR).

6. Moderation & Listing Removal

Sourcebay reserves the right to review, reject, or block any listing that violates our quality guidelines, security standards, or copyright laws.
